Arizona teammates Jordan Geist, Zach Landa and Youssef Koudssi finished second, fourth and sixth in the men's shot put at the NCAA Division 1 West Regional at Sacramento State. Geist, who also secured second place in the hammer throw with a second-round effort of 238-3 (72.62m), was runner-up in the shot put at 68-7 (20.90m), Landa produced a personal-best 65-6.75 (19.98m) on his opening attempt, and Koudssi also achieved a lifetime-best 65 feet (19.81m) in the first round, as the Wildcats' trio all secured berths in the June 7 final at the Division 1 championship meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas.
